Blog for long-distance hiking and travel

From El Camino de Santiago in Spain to the Via Transilvanica in Romania, I have hiked over 1,000 kilometers and I’m just getting started

El Camino de Santiago

El Camino Frances is a 780-kilometer pilgrimage route that runs westward from the border of France and Spain, through the Pyrenees, to Santiago de Compostela. It can be deeply spiritual or simply a way to commune with nature. The Camino changed my life, and I’m excited to share my experiences with you.

The Via Transilvanica

The Via Transilvanica is a 1,400-kilometer route that runs from the north of Romania to the south. It boasts ancient forests, mountain views, and a rich cultural heritage. The experienced hiker will find this an exciting challenge; beginners may cut the VT into stages.

Upcoming Hikes…

In 2024, I intend to complete more long-distance hikes. You can follow my adventures in real time on Instagram or subscribe to my YouTube channel for videos with explanations, advice, and a more in-depth look at the trails I have hiked.
